Dr. Nicolaie D. Cristescu

Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Prior to joining UF in 1992, he was Professor (up to 1982), Chairman of the Department of Mechanics (1982-1990),and
Rector (President) (1990-1992) of the University of Bucharest, Romania.
He obtained a Ph.D. from the Romanian Academy in June 1955, and a
Docent (Dr.Habil) degree from the University of Bucharest in 1967.
He is a Fellow of the Romanian Academy and of the Academia Europaea (European Academy).
He is editor and member of editorial boards of several scientific journals.
